Educational Resources
MitzVote has developed resource modules to infuse civic engagement and voting into your Jewish education and programming this semester. Each module focuses on a different topic and includes Jewish, historic, and contemporary texts along with discussion questions. The modules also include recommended next-step action items for participating students.
Module 2: Yom Kippur & Sukkot - A Time to Restart and Recommit
Module 4: Are Jews Obligated to Vote?
Module 5: You Just Voted for the First Time! How Should We Celebrate?
Module 6: How to Vote Your Values
Module 7: Plus One: Getting Others to the Polls
Module 9: The Vote is Over. Now What?
Module 10: What Does Society Need to Thrive?
Utilizing Jewish wisdom to empower and enable students to engage in the election, local Hillels can support their students in civic education, activating their peers, voting, and celebrating their civic engagement.
MitzVote is thrilled to be a partner on National Voter Education Week (NVEW), which will be October 3th-7th. NVEW will be a week-long digital campaign to help voters bridge the gap between registering to vote and actually casting a ballot.
